From Landscaping to a Growing Grab-Hire Operation
LCL is a family-run business based in Motherwell. The company originally grew through landscaping and groundcare and has continued to invest in its own vehicles, machinery, equipment and yard as the business has expanded.
Grab hire, material supply and recycling are now major parts of what we do and areas we intend to grow considerably.
Our aim isn’t to present ourselves as a huge national waste company. We’re an established local business with our own team and infrastructure, working directly with our customers across Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow.

We operate our own grab lorries, including a 32-tonne Renault tipper grab, giving us control over how jobs are scheduled and completed.

Our Motherwell yard supports the grab-hire, material-supply, timber and recycling sides of the operation.

Diggers, plant and screening equipment allow us to handle and process suitable materials in-house.
Recycling Is a Major Part of Our Future
Material returning through the grab-hire operation gives us the opportunity to reuse suitable products rather than simply sending everything away for disposal.
By screening appropriate incoming material, we can produce reusable soil, stone and hardcore and continue developing the recycling side of the business.
Longer term, the goal is for grab hire, material supply and recycling to operate as three strong parts of the same local business.

We work with everyone from homeowners needing one grab collection or load of material through to landscapers, builders, groundworkers and commercial contractors requiring regular support.
A major focus for LCL is building long-term relationships with trade and account customers who regularly require grab hire, muck-away or material deliveries.
